Why you should add us to your DOT Qualified SAP list

As you know, according to the DOT Rule 49 CFR Part 40 Section 40.287, it is the employer's responsibility to provide an SAP referral to any individual who tests positive on a DOT Drug Screen whether you plan on hiring, retaining, or dismissing the employee.

1 Initial
Assessment

. Client requests appointment & completes intake questionnaire

. We will email you with the Qualified SAP Name for you to select in the Clearinghouse

. Attends the video assessment

2 Education
or Treatment

. We conduct initial evaluation

. Determine education and/or rehabilitation requirements and outline clear next steps

. Monitor client’s progress

. Communicates with Designated Employer Representative (DER)

3 Followup
Assessment

. Complete DOT required followup evaluation

. Update Clearinghouse documentation (for CDL drivers)

. Ensures DER has essential documentation in a timely manner
